Horseshoe Canyon

Description:

Horseshoe Canyon Ranch has been featured in multiple outdoor magazines as one of the best climbing areas east of the Rockies. You don’t have to be a top class climber to enjoy climbing at Horseshoe Canyon Ranch.   This trip is great for people of all abilities–from experienced climbers to beginners looking to try climbing in a safe and comfortable environment.  There are over 300 different routes ranging from easy to hard, so there’s something for everyone!  You’ll be under the guidance of a guide with years of experience guiding and climbing.

Itinerary:

Day1:

Transportation will be provided from Tulsa, OK to Horseshoe Canyon about (3.5 hours). Transportation from all other locations will not be provided.  Tulsa International airport is the nearest major airport.  Driving time from Tulsa, OK is approximately 3.5 hours.  Bonvoy will depart from Tulsa at 6:30 am.  Upon arriving at Jasper, AR around 10:00 am we will meet everyone at Horseshoe Canyon Ranch.

Once we arrive we will check in at the store and sign all  necessary paperwork then visit the camp site we will have set up before heading to our climbing destination.  As we make our way to our climbing area your guide will teach you how to properly belay, put on a harness, and all the necessary safety procedures for climbing.

Then it’s time for you to get on the wall!  Test your skills with the best climbing Arkansas has to offer.  We’ll try out multiple routes depending on each person’s individual abilities.  There are plenty of routes to accommodate any skill level.  Bonvoy will provide lunch at the discretion of our guests and then resume climbing after a good rest. Once everyone is tired out for the day, we’ll head back to camp where we’ll make a nice dinner and relax by the fire.

Day2:

We will enjoy breakfast at the camp and roam around taking in the scenery before heading out for another day of climbing!  Lunch will be provided on this day as well then we will depart around 3pm for Tulsa and go our separate ways after a fun and accomplished weekend!
