Who’s Been Biking?

Have you all been participating in bike month? We’ve seen a little bit more bike traffic around here in the last couple of weeks but nothing substantial.  Friday is bike to work day.  Are any of your city officials participating?  We are curious to know the amount of participation from those who don’t already ride.  Let us know, share your …

Tree Hangers

A deployable hanging tent for rock climbers. This image has been circulating around the social media feeds we follow.  Which leads us to ask, any of you out there hard core enough to have spent the night in one? Never heard of or seen anything like it? Check out the …

Is This How You Feel About Ziplining?

We watched this in the office yesterday and while there is some foul language – it’s South Park people! – we felt it was too funny not to share if you haven’t already seen it.  Mostly because we can relate. If you have ever gone ziplining, you probably will to. It’s long because it’s the full episode, but worth watching. …

Memorial Hermann 70.3 Ironman recap

For those of you who don’t know, there’s actually a rock climbing gym in Tulsa, OK.  New Heights is located off of the 11th St exit off Hwy 169.  It’s pretty easy to find since the building has “Rock Climb” painted in huge letters on the side of the building as you’re driving down the highway….

Thursday Tunes

Happy Thursday everyone!  What music are you listening to today?

Check out this video of The Kills, one of Ben Fogle’s favorite bands at the moment.  We are digging.  Enjoy!

How Did you Spend Your Extra 24 Hours?

It’s rare for us travelers to have a moment in front of the TV.  I don’t remember the last time I watched a full episode of anything.  So being at home on my couch, with a glass of wine and watching the Modern Family Leap Year episode was the perfect ending to my “extra” day.  It was one of the …

Getting Inspired

This morning while reading through our twitter feed, I stumbled upon this tweet  “My American Roadtrip: Stats, Tips and Observations” http://su.pr/30G9da #Travel #writerswednesday” from @Brendanvanson.  I was interested enough to click on the link.  What started out as curiosity into this @Brendanvanson’s insight on an American road …
