Our Team
Managing Partner:
Sean Jackson
As an avid outdoorsman, runner and cyclist, it is safe to say that an office environment was not where Sean was going to be happiest. “When I was thinking about careers, people would tell me to stick to what I was most passionate about. I think the most difficult thing for me was trying to get my head around that. I like hanging by a rope hundreds of feet off the side of a huge rock face: who is going to pay me to do that?” Fortunately for Sean, he didn’t forget the advice and he never lost his passion.
“Bonvoy has been a very natural evolution for me. When you have the level of passion and drive that we do and you’ve experienced what we have, it is natural that you want to share it. That is why we started Bonvoy; to help people experience the transformational power of the great outdoors in a way that is accessible and affordable.
Sean attended Oklahoma State University where he received a bachelor’s degree in MIS and an MBA. He has traveled throughout the United States and abroad including to China to compete in what is haled by many, including time magazine, as one of the toughest adventure races in the world. Over a six day period they trekked 150 miles across the Gobi Desert with nothing to sustain them except what they could fit in their backpack.
Communications/Office Coordinator:
Jackie Hanna
If there’s one thing you need to know about Jackie, it’s that she really doesn’t enjoy providing a bio of herself. But she also doesn’t take herself too seriously. With her love for travel and friendly, adventurous spirit, Bonvoy and her go together like moss on a Mississippi tree stump.
Jackie once caught a ride to North Carolina where she spent a summer slinging cocktails as a bartender on the beach. She lived in a flat across from Wrigley Field for a year, endured 10 long, agonizing months as a Houstonian (no offense Houston) slumming in the basement of the Toyota Center and spent five days in the library of Oklahoma State University her junior year (without a shower) where she eventually came out with a bachelor’s degree in public relations.
Jackie’s likes include wine, running, decorating, hiking, cornhole, fishing, watching football, wine, camping, making and eating delicious food, meeting interesting people, writing and wine.
Jackie’s previous work led her to a chance encounter with Sean, which sparked her interest in Bonvoy and eventually led her to make the move to help grow the expanding business!
